True Vine Ministerial Council (TVMC)

The True Vine Ministerial Council (TVMC) is a governing body under True Vine Ministries (TVM). TVM is an incorporated charity. The TVMC is at its essence, an apostolic work, to which we are committed to creating covenant relationships with ministries that are concentrated around Christ.

The vision and mission of the TVMC is to see all members of the five-fold ministry, as described in Ephesians 4: 11, to work in tandem with each other, disregarding the so-called barriers of theology, doctrine, creed, color and judgment. The TVMC is working daily on the ultimate mission that God gave all Christians, that is:

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. - Matt. 28:19-20 (NIV)

The True Vine Ministerial Council (TVMC) is a governing body under True Vine Ministries. With TVM being a legal denomination within the province of Ontario, Canada, it can grant licensing and ordination credentials to lay workers and full time ministers.

True Vine Ministerial Council governing body is apostolic in nature. We work with other denominations and ministries. TVMC is a body of believers who are willing to commit in a covenant relationship with other Christian ministers and churches. It is a fellowship to provide guidance and accountability.

Our vision is to see the five-fold ministers and their ministries work together in love and unity in the body of Christ. We believe that God is the one who first calls and ordains the individual to ministry. The church then is secondary by giving ordination only to acknowledge God’s will and purpose in the individual’s life. Our purpose is to help Christian ministers, including Christian lay workers, develop and fulfill their God-given vision for ministry.

There are three (3) guidelines that all members of the TVMC are to be aware of:

  • All credentials are specific in nature
  • Credentials do not relate to how long one has been in ministry
  • And are based on the covenant connection over a period of time with TVM
