True Vine Ministries - Prayer is NEVER a Waste of Time! - Prayer is NEVER a Waste of Time!

This past Sunday, on Sunday, September 12, 2010, True Vine Ministries (TVM) and Champion Life Center (CLC) celebrated their first joint service! It was a time of new beginnings, making new friendships and fellowshipping with one another. The congregation at TVM arrived at 55 Hedgedale Rd and spent a couple of minutes at the CLC Cafe, greeting members of CLC, and having a great time. Next, they moved through the gym, where they were greeted by more CLC family, and founding Pastor Elvie.
The CLC band lead worship, with Associate Pastor Lynda at the helm, and they caused the presence of the Holy Ghost to fall and flow during the worship, with songs like, "For You Are Good" by Israel Houghton, and "Jesus Lover of my Soul" by Hillsongs. The worship was powerful, energetic, and the hearts of the people were aroused. Glory to God in the Highest!

Senior Pastor of Champion Life Center Jerry Berenguer took over after the worship service, and said a few words, then passed the mic over to Senior Pastor Charles and Amma to share a few words. Starting from this Sunday, TVM will be sharing the facilities at CLC. We thank the Almighty God for this opportunity to make an impact on our city and generation, and also on the hand of fellowship the Pastor Jerry and Elvie shared with us! May God richly bless them, their family and their ministry!

Associate Pastor Noel shared a powerful message on renewing of the mind, encouraging us to renew our minds by first being faithful, and then by becoming a blesser. Pastor Noel shared that the act of renewing ones mind was to do a complete renovation, in with the new, out with the old! A complete metamorphosis is necessary to renew one's mind, but the Father up above is there always to help us make the necessary changes to live for Him!

All in all, our first joint service was a tremendous occasion, the first of many, between the two ministries. We look forward to what God has in store for us as we begin the preparations for moving in!
